Although we are currently trying to stay home as much as possible in our free time, the fact of the matter is we still need to get to places. Making sure that your car is clean and hygienic, is an important part of lowering your risk of becoming ill.
- Limited the amount of people that touch your car by washing at home. There are some great products on the market that include waterless wash products for minimal water usage cleaning.
- Use a 70% alcohol sanitiser to clean the surfaces you handle the most like your steering wheel, gear lever, handbrake, handles, seatbelt, radio and mirrors.
- Make sure all passengers sanitise when entering your vehicle, and have their mask on.
Try to keep a spare sanitiser in your car. Make sure that it is in a dry cool space because of its high alcohol content.
